Just Hanging Around

Here are some pictures of us just hanging around that afternoon - some people were talking whilst others were sticking their heads out of the window to cool down as it was hot in the room!

Drama Two

The second drama was based around a chair which says DO NOT TOUCH on it, but someone comes along and even though this sign is on the chair, ignores the sign and continues to sit on the chair, but gets stuck. Someone comes along to try and pull them off the chair but they also get stuck. Another person comes along and just ignores their pleas, but someone else comes along, sees them in distress, prays for them and eventually they are set free... remind you of a story... Adam and Eve were told not to touch the tree but they did and they got stuck in the rut of sin as we all have, but with Jesus' forgiveness we can be set free...

Preparation Day Two - 3rd August

Well with only a week to go, the team met up again for another afternoon of preparation, going through the plan for the English cafe, learning some more hungarian, singing songs in Hungarian, learning more drama and doing some admin bits.

It was more of a relaxed affair than the previous week, but thats because we were all tired, and maybe also because we're more prepared than we were last week - everyone has been working so hard.

Two dramas were learnt this week - one was about a person who sits on a bench, eager for some friends and looking to share her things with them (in this case it is an orange, cos thats all we had!).. then at various times a painter, a person reading there book and a fitness instructer all come along to the bench but when the main person tries to make contact with them they shun her and walk away leaving her all disappointed, but then another man comes along and this time it is he trying to make friends whilst he is shunned, but eventually he shows the main person that he also as an orange and they become friends and walk away - this is Jesus showing true friendship and that He will never shun us.
