Christianity Explored Training Day

I woke up feeling a bit better today although my foot was really painful - it was still swollen and now the rash was very firey - stupid mosquitoes, at last count there were 28 bites and I do not want anymore.

So because I was feeling better I decided I would go to the CE training and do my testimony which was the original plan - I felt that God wanted to do this and I have realised over the past few years that you cannot ignore Him.

So whilst everyone else went to sit in a cafe and drink coffee in Nyrighaza, Agi, Steve and I went to the church for the CE training day. Steve was leading the morning and Agi was doing the afternoon.

My testimony seemed to go ok, again I found it hard talking through a translator, especially when speaking about something so personal, but people seemed to be listening to me, I just hope the translation brought out what I wanted it to say and that God will have worked in people's hearts through it.

Steve's bit was good, He got the main point across - He included some funny stories which helped keep people's attentions. And even though I wasn't there to be trained, I learnt things from Steve's talks as well. He spoke on 'What is Christianity Explored?' and 'What to do on the run up to the course?'.

As I had finished my piece, the team picked me up at 12.30 to go back for lunch and do preparations for Sunday, so I did not get to witness Agi in action, but she would have been doing her talks in Hungarian anyway, so I would not have been able to understand anyway!
