Flying Off

At 7.30am my alarm went off, not a nice thing for a Saturday morning, but this wasn't any ordinary Saturday morning, this was the day I was off to Hungary with the Wet Foot team.

At 9.00am the taxi arrived to collect me and I was headed to Victoria train station via Dave and Neminah's house - I have never seen so much luggage but then they did have all the crafts and sports gear to take them.

We arrived at Victoria and got the train to Gatwick were we arranged to meet everyone at 10.30am. Jill Purslow also turned up so say goodbye, or maybe just to check that we all definately left the country so they could have peace for two weeks!

Once we were all gathered, we checked in our bags, said a prayer and goodbye to Jill and headed off to the Departure lounge.

We got sandwiches and then headed down at 12.40 to the departure gate. Whilst the whole team went through the gate I decided I needed the toilet, and when I came back, everyone was already getting on the plane - think they were trying to leave me behind but they did not succeed!

We were on the plane, and as usual with Easyjet it was 20 minutes delayed, but eventually we were off in the air flying towards Hungary.
