Thursday- Day Four

As we had a busy day of preparations ahead of us, we had devotions at 7.30am - not nice getting up so early, but it has to be done, and I suppose I get up at this time everyday in order to go to work.

After devotions we had breakfast and preparation starts at 9.30am. We had to decide first of all who was doing what both on Thursday and Friday at Kids camp, English Cafe and at the Gypsy Camp also.

I was down for sport today and craft on Friday. Sport today was great fun. It was so hot, nearing 40 degrees, so we decided to use water balloons in our games.

We played a game where you had two groups - they both held sheets and the aim of the game was for one group to throw the water balloon and the other group to catch it without dropping it, otherwise the other group would get a point. However, not many of the balloons ended up on the sheet, most of them landed on the ground. The kids really seemed to love it.

We played different games with the various age groups all involving water balloons - some of them jumped when one dropped as they did not want to get wet, but some really wanted to get wet.

When it came to the last group, we were all so hot, that when we used all the water balloons up, we just filled up the buckets with water and threw them over each other - I felt like such a child again, but it was great - working with children is fun.

Zsuzsi and I were do drenched afterwards, we had to leave before the closing of the afternoon, so that we could dry as we walked - don't think Istan would have liked us soaking wet in his van!

This afternoon was so fun, I really enjoyed i. And it was clear to see here started to like us being there and a rapport has been but with each other- pity the camp was ending tomorrow. But they will also be with me in my memories and on my photos.
