Pastoral Caring

After the crafts had finished and the closing 'ceremony' of Champions Challenge was under way, I started to feel worse than I had earlier, it was 38 degrees and I was shivering, definately something must be wrong with me.

Esther and Judit found me and took me into their house to lie down and their mum (Anna Nina) and Dad (Uncle Misi) looked after me, bringing me tea etc... and they even took me to the doctors (who wasn't there). The people of Hungary and of this church are so caring - we only met that week but it seems as if we have known each other for years.

I spent the evening in their house sleeping whilst the rest of team were at the penultimate night of the English Cafe. At 9pm Agi came and collected me an took me back to the base. All in all it was a bit of a rough day for me, but God was looking after me and brought people into my life to look after me as well.
