Sunday - our first full day

Today is our first full day of our two weeks trip and it started with breakfast of Eggs and Bacon and 8.30am. I just had to laugh, as it was pork the night before, and eggs this morning, two foods I am allergic too. But hey bread is usually what I have for breakfast, so bread and jam is what I had.

Before breakfast I read Romans 12, which I felt was really appropriate for the beginning of our trip as it was about the body working together - serving and encouraging each other. Not only would be working together as a team, but we would also be working with the Nyritelek church, so I just found this very encouraging and that God is really looking out for us.

After breakfast we went down to the church. Agi told us it was a two minute walk from our accomodation to the church, but it was actually 20 minutes! Think she missed out a zero there!

The church is a new church, it was only built a couple of year ago and is still being finished off. During the service I did not understand anything that was being said, as I do not understand Hungarian, but it was interesting watching another culture worship.

Halfway through the service we go up and introduced ourselves to the church and sang 'Lord I lift your name on high'. We sang it half in English and half in Hungarian. Hope they were impressed!
